1. How do you like our facilities?

I have used other facilities, and I would recommend the Couch Horse Ranch to anyone. My daughter has learned so much from Kerry.

2. How do you like the horses used in lessons?

When Katie first started lessons with Kerry she actually fell off of one of the horses, but it was not the horses fault. Is was my daughters, with Kerry’s guidance she has learned how to stay on the horse and how to ride the correct way. The horses are gentle, very smart and my daughter loves them.

3. Do you like the trainer and the way she teaches?

I was looking for a teacher that could understand and communicate with a pre-teen now teenager. Kerry is loving and gentle, but she is firm and strict when needed. Safety is always first but she always nurtures.

4. How reasonable are prices and lesson availability?

The prices I have paid at the previous place were $575.00 a month for 2 lessons a week to $120.00 a month should speak for itself. Plus Katie has learned a lot more about horse riding and care for horses.

5. Is there anything you do not like or think could be improved?

I just would like Kerry to know just how good of a teacher she really is. We, “meaning my husband, myself and my daughter” love Kerry her husband Michael and their family.

6. Would you recommend us to other interested in ridding lessons, horse training or boarding?

Absolutely for all the above, if you would even like to call me for questions I would talk to you personally.

Honestly she is the best trainer that we’ve met since we started taking lessons almost 5 years ago. She is extremely professional and very good at what she does.

Very reasonable prices compared to other in the area. We’ve been accommodated well when it comes to lesson availability.

I love the horses at Couch Ranch they are very gentle and well trained. I feel very safe on them.

Yes. Kerry is very patient and takes the time to explain why we do things certain ways.

1. How do you like our facilities?

The facility is fine with plenty of space to store our saddle and tack. The area is kept safe

for the participants and the horses.

2. How do you like the horses used in lessons?

The horse I ride during lessons is very well trained and once I established the ability to

manage Emma; she performs with enthusiasm, respect, and takes direction as if we have

always been together.

3. Do you like the trainer and the way she teaches?

Kerry is more than qualified in my humble opinion, as an instructor. She treats all students with patience and consideration, and expresses approval when the student does well, and does not belittle when one has trouble with grasping techniques. Kerry communicates instructions clearly and will explain on a level for each student to comprehend (beginner to advance). She takes training very seriously and is concerned with the progress made from each student. I can approach Kerry with what my seem to be common sense questions and I am never made to feel stupid or belittled. Kerry displays professionalism and generally enjoys giving her love of horses to someone who has the same desire and want to be a horseman.

4. How reasonable are prices and lesson availability?

The prices are competive with other area horse and rider training facilties and we have been able to plan lessons in advance and arrange the time and dates that work with our schedules.

5. Is there anything you do not like or think could be improved?

The only thing I can think of is the rocks, they seem to grow on this ranch, but what can

you do when one lives on a mountain. I would like to see a shaded sitting area near

the bull pen and arena for when I am not riding and Bec is receiving her lesson.

6. Would you recommend us to other interested in ridding lessons, horse training or boarding?

I would recommend Couch Horse Ranch and Kerry to anyone who truly wanted to learn how to ride and care for a horse.
